First impressions are important. Within the first 5 seconds of meeting someone new, that person has already judged you (right or wrong). Don’t believe this is true? Next time you are standing in line, look at the people in front and in back of you. What judgement are you making and why? If someone is dressed well, we hold a higher opinion of them, then someone who is dressed in frumpy sweats with a stained top. Whether we like to admit it or not, other people do notice our clothing, our hair, our shoes and our handbags. And as much as I love the wild handbags in crazy prints, I always end up with a basic black or brown bag. In fact, I have a closet full of them.  A clear sign that I am not quite as hip as I would like to believe I am. Â
